A_Buyers_Guide_to_the_2021_Chevy_Colorado_Friendly_Chevrolet_Fridley_MN

The 2021 Chevy Colorado is aptly named, as tough and beautiful as the Colorado Rockies themselves and capable of exploring them, too. Fans and critics alike are impressed with the sheer power and abilities of the new Colorado.

Affordable Pricing

This midsize pickup is making a splash among consumers for its surprising affordability. Trucks are often some of the most expensive vehicles on the market, and for good reason. Their mechanical components and durable materials often increase their starting prices, but Chevy has been able to use high-quality materials and engineering to keep the starting prices reasonable.

The four trims available are the Work Truck, LT, Z71, and ZR2. Each trim comes equipped with its own unique set of standard features, and all levels are highly affordable. The base model, Work Truck, starts at $26,395, and the top-of-the-line ZR2 starts at just $42,795.

Available Engines

Three different engine options are available for buyers to begin customizing their Colorado. The 2.5-liter, 4-cylinder base engine produces 200 horsepower and 191 pound-feet of torque. A 3.6-liter V6 is an available upgraded engine, generating 308 horsepower and 275 pound-feet of torque. For the most powerful performance, the Duramax 2.8-liter turbodiesel engine cranks out 181 horsepower and a spectacular 369 pound-feet of torque.

Both the 2.5-liter and 2.8-liter turbodiesel engines are paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. The 3.6-liter V6 engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.

Increased Towing Capacity

Depending on which powertrain you choose, the towing capacity will vary, but will still deliver an impressive amount of muscle. The V6 has a maximum towing capacity of up to 7,000 pounds. The diesel engine has an increased towing capacity of up to 7,700 pounds.

Purchasing the available Trailering Equipment package will maximize the towing capabilities on any configuration. The Colorado is designed to haul large trailers, so Chevy has equipped every model with the innovative trailer-sway control feature at no extra charge to buyers.

Well-designed Interior

The 2021 Colorado has incredibly spacious and comfortable seats throughout the cabin. The large amount of storage space in addition to the truck bed is especially welcome, as the redesigned, deep center console bin is large enough to keep all of your front seat essentials concealed. There is also additional storage in the large compartment expertly placed beneath the rear seating to further secure valuables.

Advanced Infotainment

Its superior infotainment system is one of the 2021 Colorado's most popular features. The 7-inch touchscreen infotainment control console comes standard. This system includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as Bluetooth audio connectivity.

Born from a long line of spectacular trucks, Chevy has made the new Colorado as impressive as it is strong. Whether you intend to use this truck for work or play, this pickup's durability, determination, and stamina make it a top choice among consumers. Visit us at Friendly Chevrolet today to meet with our experienced and knowledgeable team and take the 2021 Colorado for a test drive.
