Friendly Cares
At Friendly Chevrolet, it has never just been about vehicles; serving our community has always remained at the forefront of our values. Our mission is to put Friendly back in Fridley, to be involved in our local and greater Twin Cities community, promoting good, and helping make a positive difference through support and funding. We are also dedicated to providing sponsorships and in-kind donations to worthwhile organizations in our communities. By narrowing our concentration, we are able to make a real impact on programs that promote positive change in our community.
Charitable Donations and Sponsorships
For sponsorships or donation requests, please complete and submit the form below. Friendly Chevrolet requires that all requests be submitted a minimum of 60 days prior to the event date. Requests are reviewed monthly, so please allow up to 4 weeks for us to respond to your request. Please note that Friendly Chevrolet will not respond to funding requests that clearly fall outside our stated areas of interest above.
Donations are restricted to organizations that have been granted tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, and operate in the Twin Cities. Contributions will not be made in support of: individuals, loans or investments, political or lobbying organizations, and sectarian/denominational religious organizations, except where funds are to be used in direct interest of the entire community. Fridley 49er Days Benefit Car Show
Friendly Chevrolet hosts the Fridley 49er Days Benefit Car Show. We have so much fun bringing the community together for some cool cars and to support Fridley Wrestling!
Feed My Starving Children
Friendly Chevrolet employees volunteered at Feed My Starving Children. We helped pack boxes which will feed kids a daily meal for a year. We had so much fun supporting such a great cause!
First Responders
Friendly Chevrolet gave a 1st responder appreciation donation to the Fridley Police Department. Thank you for all you do in the community!
Jack-o-Lantern Spectacular
Friendly Chevrolet and your select Heartland Chevy Dealers was a proud sponsor of the Minnesota Zoo Jack-o-Lantern Spectacular!
Trunk or Treat
Friendly Chevrolet hosts a Trunk-or-Treat event at Friendly Chevrolet to help the community celebrate Halloween!
Toys for Tots
Friendly Chevrolet is a Toys for Tots drop off center. People in the community and employees bring in toys and then Friendly Chevrolet delivers the boxes to Toys for Tots at the end of December.
12 Moms of Christmas
Friendly Chevrolet is a proud sponsor of the 12 moms of Christmas event. Partnering with Newgate Schools and other local dealerships, we help gift 12 single moms a car filled with gifts. It is truly a magical event!
Corcoran Country Daze
Friendly Chevrolet was a sponsor again for this year's Corcoran Country Daze festival in Corcoran, MN. Our sponsorship was used for Saturday free kids day, which included free games, face paint, bounce houses. We also were able to gift 900 kids with backpacks full of school supplies.
Curling Tournament
Friendly Chevrolet was the DJ for the curling tournament and beer poking at Forgotten Star Brewery. Friendly Chevrolet also gave away trade bonuses, coolers, and bags at the event. Thank you Forgotten Star Brewery for inviting us to be a part of an amazing event!
2nd & 3rd Annual Believe Golf Tournament
Friendly Chevrolet Fridley was a sponsor of the 2nd and 3rd annual Believe Golf Tournament at Daytona Golf Club. The first hole-in-one on hole #15 wins a brand new Chevy! A few employees got the opportunity to compete in the golf tournament as well! Such a fun day at the Believe Golf Tournament!
Fridley Middle School Open House
Friendly Chevrolet is a proud sponsor of the Fridley Middle School open house. Friendly Chevrolet sponsored all the food at open house. In the past food was at cost, which veered some families away. Friendly Chevrolet is proud to be able to take that extra cost away from all the families that attended the open house. We wish every child at Fridley Middle School the best luck on an amazing school year ahead!
Company Picnic
Friendly Chevrolet held their annual company picnic to celebrate the hard work and dedication of our team members. The day consists of lots of fun including a bean bag tournament, food trucks, ice cream truck, and a bounce house.
