No one understands the inner workings of your Chevy better than the professionals at a Chevrolet dealership. The skilled service technicians at our dealership here in Fridley, MN know exactly how to keep your Chevy car, truck, or SUV in top shape for many years to come.

Why Get Your Vehicle Serviced at the Dealer?

There are many reasons why the dealership specializing in your particular make of vehicle is a good choice for routine maintenance. In our opinion, the most important reason is that the dealer has exactly the right parts and materials on hand to ensure your vehicle is serviced properly. This also means that should the need for a repair or part replacement present itself, we can get it done much more quickly and efficiently than anyone else.

While Chevrolet is hands-down one of the most reliable and high-performing car brands on the market, there comes a time in every vehicle's life when it needs more than just basic maintenance. When that time comes, you want to have the security of knowing that your Chevy is in the best hands possible.

Superior Service Standards at Your Chevrolet Dealership

Even if all you need is a routine, bi-annual service checkup, it still makes sense to have this done at the dealer. Many mistakes can be made at a quick-stop oil change shop, such as using the wrong type of oil for your vehicle or installing a subpar filter. A Chevy dealer has very high standards for the type of parts and products we use and ensures that every service checkup is customized to your particular make and model.

The Importance of Trained Technicians

Our Chevrolet-certified technicians have been specifically trained to perform service and repairs on Chevy cars, trucks, and SUVs. Our in-house experts ensure that all work is done according to factory specifications. Since Chevy is all we do, we can diagnose problems quickly (and correctly) the first time so that small issues don't cause big, expensive ones down the road.

Factory Parts in Fridley, MN

Whether you live in Fridley or anywhere else in North America, the parts used at your Chevy dealership come directly from the Chevrolet factory in Michigan. Only at your dealership can you be sure that your vehicle is being serviced and repaired with the exact parts that were factory-made for your particular car, truck, or SUV.

The importance of using parts that come directly from the Chevy factory should not be underestimated. This not only helps to ensure your vehicle will last longer but also preserves the value of your Chevy over time. When the moment comes to sell your vehicle, the fact that it has all Chevrolet components in place will make it more attractive to prospective buyers.

Warranty and Recall Protection

While some warranties require certain repairs to be done by the dealer, the most important reason to have your service done “in-house” is that we keep detailed records of all repairs and services we've performed on your vehicle. This paperwork can come in handy if you do ever need to make a warranty claim, or if a prospective buyer wants to see your service history.

Regular visits to the dealer are also useful for learning about recalls. While Chevy is very good about sending out recall notices, if you've moved since purchasing your vehicle or if your post office makes a mistake, you might not ever get this notice. A dealer will make sure all its customers are up-to-date on any recall information and can book you in promptly for a repair.

If your Chevy is due for service, don't wait – call us at Friendly Chevroletso we can schedule your next service appointment!
