Diesel oil is a special type of oil. Since your engine operates at much higher temperatures and pressures, it needs oil that won’t burn off when exposed to those harsh conditions. Diesel oil is explicitly tailored to the high temperatures and pressures in your car’s engine. It can keep your engine lubricated and protected until the next recommended oil change interval. Other oils are made for standard combustion engine vehicles and will quickly burn up when placed in a diesel engine.

How Diesel Oil Changes Work

A diesel oil change is much like any other oil change, except for the type of oil used. We start by exposing the drain plug and emptying the oil pan of all the old oil, sludge, and other accumulated debris. Then, we replace the oil filter in your car with a brand new OEM filter. Once that’s done, we close up the drain plug, cover it again, and add up to six quarts of diesel oil into your car’s engine. Then your vehicle comes back to you, ready to drive.
