What do I need to bring with me when selling my vehicle?

- Valid government Identification
- Vehicle Registration
- Vehicle Title
- Lien Card (if applicable)

Can I sell my leased vehicle?
Yes, we will work with your leasing company to determine your payoff and equity position.
What if I owe more money on my vehicle than it is worth?
If the payoff amount of the vehicle you are selling is higher than the fair market value offered by Friendly Chevrolet, referred to as negative equity, we can assist you in two ways. First, you may be able to include that balance onto the financing of another vehicle. Second, if you just want to sell your vehicle, you can pay the negative equity directly to us. One of our team members will then process the payoff and complete all necessary DMV paperwork.
How long will it take to sell my vehicle?
The vehicle condition assessment and selling paperwork can be completed in most cases in under an hour.
Do I need an appointment to sell my vehicle?
Appointments are not required but we do recommend making one to make your experience more enjoyable. It also allows us to set time aside just for you.

We will issue a check payable to the name(s) listed on the title once the sales process is complete.

How long is my offer valid?
Your final offer is valid for 7 days. If it expires, we are happy to renew your offer. However, current market values may affect the new value.

Can I sell my vehicle if it has a lien?
Yes, once you decide to move forward with the sale one of our team members will contact your lienholder and acquire a 15-day payoff. We will need the following information:
- Lienholder’s name and phone number
- Name(s) on the loan account
- The account number and social security number
If a previously paid-off lien is still listed on your title, you will need to provide a lien release, and lien card, along with the title.
